Our Mission
Our EMEA Headquarters in Dublin brings Rioters together from all over the world in order to foster local connections and forge strong bonds with the players in the diverse region we serve.
Our Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) HQ has come a long way since it was first opened in 2009. Located on the River Liffey in the heart of Dublin, the whole office is created to live and breathe Riot's culture, where people can bring their best self to work. Upon entering, Rioters and visitors are welcomed into the rich worlds of our games like League of Legends and VALORANT.
But that's not all. In 2021 we continued our investment in Dublin, when our Remote Broadcast Center Powered by AWS opened its doors just 20 minutes from Dublin city-center. This world-class broadcasting facility is dedicated to reinventing the esports viewing experience for fans around the globe.
From humble beginnings we grew our EMEA HQ to a creative working space that is touching on all aspects of Riot’s IP, Product, and Business. Teams working here have an impact on all of what Riot is: Engineering, Data Analytics, Research & Development, Information Security, Communications, Finance, Legal, and HR, to name a few. To make sure Riot stays close to where players play, the teams in Dublin establish a strong link of collaboration with our Los Angeles Headquarters and other offices across EMEA and the world.
The Rioters who work in Dublin come from many nationalities around the world and the culture in the office is as diverse as the regions they serve. With 137 countries and over two billion people across EMEA, having a variety of backgrounds and lived experiences helps the Rioters in Dublin speak to players across this expansive region.
Riot Games strongly believes in corporate social responsibility. We hope to help build a more positive world for the players and our communities. To do this, we focus on creating equal access to education and skills development and the promotion of positive citizenship in our communities. Our social impact activities are based on four pillars: Education, Citizenship, Opportunity, and Sustainability. In Dublin we regularly partner up with organizations that have a direct impact on the social aspects of the community we live in.
